A Route Receipt records the policy a router declared, the route facts a client could observe, and the integrity trail for one orchestration event. Request and response content can remain private as SHA-256 digests.

Provider, model, fallback, latency, usage, cost and retention policy use one stable envelope across compatible routing services.
Privacy preserving
Prompts and responses may stay undisclosed. The receipt carries their digests and states exactly which route facts were unavailable.
Correctable
Every production receipt points to a correction channel and may be included in a signed public root. A receipt measures; it does not certify.
An open door for routers, gateways and agent runtimes
Any project can implement the schema, publish a synthetic fixture, or offer an approved trace bundle. CSOAI can independently index public interfaces without implying a partnership. A design-partner relationship begins only when both sides explicitly agree and disclose it.
The free layer contains the schema, method, sample and verification. Optional x402 products pay for a fresh signature, historical assembly, monitoring cadence or private evidence pack. Payment cannot change a result or purchase board placement.
